Food tour + sightseeing
This tour is a perfect mix of a walking tour and a food tasting. During the tour you will cover about 2-3 km (and more if you want), you will visit a number of cafes, shops and restaurants.
Overview
First of all you will taste Russian tea and typical Russian sweets, then you will walk with a guide along the central streets, where he will tell you about traditional, Soviet and modern Russian cuisine. Then you will see a number of famous places and restaurants. The guide will also give you some advice where to eat in Moscow and what to try. After that you will go to a store where the guide will tell you about typical Russian dairy products and you will have a small degustation there. After the degustation you will take a metro and see some of the most famous stations. Then you will get to a restaurant, where you will have a full meal and try modern Russian cuisine which also includes some traditional products such as caviar, rye-bread, vodka. The meal includes an appetizer, main dish, drinks (dessert can also be added).
The tour lasts about 3-3.5 hours, and finishes with a full meal in a restaurant. The restaurant is located near the famous pedestrian street - Arbat, so after the tour you can enjoy walking down there.As the tour finishes with a full meal in a restaurant, we suggest to start the tour about noon, so you can start lunch about 2-2.30p.m. Or you can start the tour in the evening, about 5-6p.m and finish it with a dinner about 7-8 p.m. Please think what time would be the most appropriate for you.
